Driver Leads Police On Overnight Chase

NORTH HUNTINGDON (KDKA) ― One person is facing charges following a police chase overnight in Westmoreland County.

Authorities say the chase began around 2 a.m. when police tried to pull over a motorist in Jeanette.

Officials say that the driver took off, leading police on a chase through several communities hitting speeds of around 90 miles per hour.

The chase ended about an hour later when officials say the driver was stopped on Route 30 in North Huntingdon.
