Army Private Returning To Pa. On Murder Charges

LIGONIER (KDKA) ― An 18-year old man accused of murdering a local businessman is on his way back to Pennsylvania to face the charges.

Anthony Mowry, of Latrobe, was taken into custody in Fort Hood, Texas.

That's where Mowry is stationed in the Army.

Police say Mowry went to William Jones' home in Ligonier last Tuesday and offered to have sex with him.

Instead, police say Mowry beat Jones then stabbed him before stealing his car and some money and setting the apartment on fire.
