Officials Probe Another Post Office Robbery
NEW ALEXANDRIA (KDKA) ―
Just one week after
a man robbed a Washington County post office at gunpoint, authorities are now investigating another armed robbery at an area post office in Westmoreland County.
Pennsylvania State Police from the Kiski barracks are investigating after someone held up the post office on Main Street in New Alexandria shortly before 3:30pm.
There are no reports of any injuries; and investigators have not yet released a description of the suspect.
Meanwhile, US Postal Inspectors are still looking for the person who robbed the post office in Langeloth last Thursday morning.
The suspect in the Washington County incident is described as a white man in his mid thirties with light brown hair and a medium build. He is believed to be about 5'10" tall and approximately 190-pounds.
Investigators are now offering a reward of up to $50,000 in that case.
Anyone with information is urged to call the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455.
