Police Probe Fatal Penn Township Accident

PENN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― Two people are dead after a head-on collision in Westmoreland County.

Penn Township police say 72-year-old Daniel Antoniak, from Jeannette, was driving eastbound on Route 130 when he crossed the center line and crashed into another vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ruth Antoniak, 68, was taken to the Forbes Campus of Allegheny General where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the second car was taken to Mercy Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
