Texas Pooch Stuck In Pipe Rescued

Dangerous Curiosity No Longer Monopoly Of Cats

FORT WORTH, Texas (CBS) ― A loose pooch found herself in a predicament Wednesday afternoon in North Fort Worth, Texas.

Rescue crews think the dog was chasing a rabbit when her head got stuck in a large metal pipe.

The curious canine was taken to animal control where vets greased her neck with baby oil and successfully removed the pipe.

For now, the adult shepherd-mix dog has been named "Piper."

She'll remain at the shelter for 72 hours. If no one claims her, Piper may be available for adoption.
