Tiny Puppy Scares Off N.J. Bears

WYCKOFF, N.J. (AP) ― Three bears were no match for a 15-pound cockapoo in Wyckoff.

"Pawlee" confronted the mother bear and her two cubs that wandered into Andrew Osiason's back yard Sunday.

The 8-month-old puppy charged after the bruins, sending the cubs up a tree.

The bears headed into the woods by the time police arrived.
