Official NYC Condom Gets Its Own Facebook Page

2009 NYC Condom Going Global For Valentine's Day

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Status update: Getting hotter.

The official New York City condom now has its own Facebook page, CBS station WCBS-TV reported.

A year ago, the Health Department promoted its condom with a sexy slogan. New Yorkers were encouraged to "get some" on Valentine's Day. This year, the launch is going global.

The wrapper features black "NYC" letters inside three hooked-up circles. The word "CONDOM" appears in rainbow letters.

Facebookers can send their friends pretend e-condoms, and can find out where to get real condoms for free.

To land on the page, search Facebook using the phrase "NYC Condom - Get Some."
