Officials Investigate Vandalism At Local Cemetery

Officials in Washington County are investigating after vandalism at a local cemetery.

A cemetery in Washington County has been vandalized for the second time in six months.
It happened at St. Luke Cemetery located in Bentleyville.
According to officials, someone used white spray paint to write graphic symbols on seven gravestones.
"These people who do these things, I wish they would think twice before they come to a cemetery and think about all these people here have loved ones and when you desecrated these stones; you're not desecrating stones, you're hurting people," said Fr. Gary Krummert.
Authorities say the same cemetery was hit by a vandal back in December.
The investigation continues.
