A police chase involving an 11-year-old driver ended when the boy crashed a stolen station wagon into a utility pole along Route 519 in Washington County

An 11-year-old boy is facing a list of charges after officials say he stole a station wagon and led police on a high-speed chase for miles through Washington County overnight.
Troopers say the boy was spotted driving the Toyota station wagon at a high rate of speed through North Strabane Township around 9pm Sunday.
According to authorities, the boy was traveling well over 80-miles per hour at times as police chased him down Route 19 to Interstate 79 to Interstate 70 and Route 519.
The young suspect reportedly hit a police cruiser and kept going; but police caught up with him when he eventually crashed into a utility pole along Route 519 near Eighty Four.
The boy was not seriously injured.
The unidentified juvenile is now in custody facing a list of serious charges including aggravated assault and fleeing and eluding a police officer.
