Pedestrian Killed Along Carson Street

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh Police are investigating the death of a man from Moon Township who was struck and killed by three vehicles -- on the South Side near Station Square.

The accident happened around 11:40 p.m. Friday.

David Hall, 24, was hit sitting at a bus stop in the 1500 block of West Carson Street near the Duquesne Incline when he crossed the street to ask a Port Authority bus driver when the next bus would be coming on his side of the street.

When he turned to cross the street again, Hall was hit by several vehicles.

The driver of one of the vehicles that struck Hall initially stopped but then made a U-turn and kept going before police could arrive.

That vehicle is described as a mid-sized, dark SUV which should now have damage to the front of it.

The driver is believed to be a white male in his thirties, about 5' 6" to 5' 7" tall.

Hall was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:54 p.m.
