Despite a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain overnight, it appears Mother Nature isn't finished yet.
The low pressure system that created the wintry mix is moving to the north and east, but we're not completely finished with the white stuff.
"Back behind it we're getting some of that north, northwesterly flow, so we will see some lake-effect snow showers from it tonight and into tomorrow," KDKA Meteorologist Rebecca Hower explained.
Most of the area will get between a coating to a half-inch in additional accumulation. In the Laurel Highlands, one - to - two inches are expected to fall.
After another round of light snow showers, temperatures are expected to plunge. Wind chills will likely tumble below zero, bringing back the biting cold.
"Temperatures are just going to continue to fall today through the 20's and into the teens and eventually into the single digits," Hower said.
Forecasters expect tonight's low to fall to 7 degrees.
