A 76 year-old woman stood up to a would-be robber in her Lone Pine, Washington County market.
"She just came in and wanted money and I wasn't giving her any," said Virginia Hart. "I didn't have any."
Hart said she didn't feel well on Monday -- her feet hurt and she wasn't about to let someone take something from her that she worked so hard for.
"I said 'What did you say?' She said, 'I want your money. Put it in this bag'," recalled Hart.
Hart, who owns the market with her husband, whacked the woman across the head with a stack of magazines, and then the woman pulled out a gun.
Still not knowing if it was real or not, Hart threatened the woman with a stool and told her to leave.
Customers, many who have known Hart for more than 20 years, are not surprised by Harts' actions.
"Yeah, she's tough," said Clayton Hapchuk. "She's always been tough."
The would-be robber took off empty-handed, and state police say so far no one has been arrested.
