Steelers, Haynes Agree To Two-Year Deal

(KDKA/AP) Third-down back Verron Haynes agreed to a two year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Haynes says other teams were interested in him, but he wanted to stay with the Steelers.

Steelers president Art Rooney made the announcement yesterday in Orlando, Florida.

The Steelers only remaining unrestricted free agent from the dozen they had is wide receiver Quincy Morgan. They also have two restricted free agents, cornerback Ike Taylor and special teams player Sean Morey.
