More Questions Arise About Thomas Hose
by Ralph Iannotti
McKEESPORT (KDKA) ―
There's new information about the case of Tanya Kach.
Now, there are more questions about what happened to another young girl who went to the very same middle school where Thomas Hose worked.
New questions have come to light about whether Hose could have been involved in the suspicious death of a McKeesport teenager 8 years ago.
Kimberlie Krimm disappeared when she was 14 years-old.
She was found dead under suspicious circumstances in 1998.
Police have never made an arrest in the case.
Hose worked as a security guard at the school Krimm attended.
It's the same school where police say Hose first met Tanya Kach when she was just an eight-grader.
When Kach surfaced earlier this week, she told police she was a victim, who had been hidden in the suspect's home for years.
"I'm shocked, I really am. I'm just, my mind is just - I can't believe it, after ten years, she re-surfaces. That's crazy," said Kimberlie Krimm's sister, Monica.
In court documents, new details of the Hose-Kach relationship come to light.
Kach told investigators she recalled skipping class, and was caught by Hose in a school stairwell, where the two began kissing. She says they called each other and she made arrangements to run away from home.
After moving in with Hose, Kach says was told not to leave the bedroom or she'd be killed.
Kach claims the pair shared the same bed -- and she changed her name, her hairstyle and appearance.
Kach told police the two had sex numerous times, and that Hose had her record their encounters, so he could brag about them to co-workers.
Another irony in the case, Monica Krimm also attended Cornell -- and knew Hose.
"He was weird. He was always flirting with the girls. He was mean," recalled Krimm.
However, Monica Krimm said she would be surprised if Hose was her sister's killer.
"If he did hurt, or kill my sister, I want it to be figured out," she said. "I also hope he gets in trouble for what he did to this girl, if it's true."
Meanwhile, Hose remains in the Allegheny County Jail.
His lawyer says he may be released sometime today.
