A new outlet mall is coming to Washington County.
Tanger Factory Outlets, which has 30 properties in 21 states, including Lancaster, hopes to draw shoppers to its South Strabane Township development.
The new center, which plans to have about 75 designer and brand name stores, is a short distance away from the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.
"Twenty-five years ago, Washington County was not in the position to attract such a major opportunity as this," Richard Kotula, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, said.
Developers hope to attract shoppers from as far as 100 miles away.

It's expected generate hundreds of jobs in retail, security and marketing.
