A Hollywood actress filming in Pittsburgh said some not-so-nice things about our city.
Sienna Miller, the-on-and-off girlfriend of Jude Law, is in town filming the movie "Mysteries of Pittsburgh."
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, she called Pittsburgh a name that rhymes with "pit" starts with "sh" and ends in "burgh."
Pittsburghers who spoke with KDKA aren't having it.
"I don't know if she's really giving us a fair shake, you know, and giving us a chance," said Dave Luxemburg, a doorman at the Omni William Penn Hotel downtown, where Miller is staying. "But if you're in your room you have to step out."
Mayor Luke Ravenstahl thinks mingling with 'Burghers might change Miller's mind.
"I obviously disagree with her comments and I am confident that if she would have interacted more with the regular folks in Pittsburgh and with the common interest and residents of the city of Pittsburgh she would have found differently," Ravenstahl said.
Miller wraps up filming in our fair city on October 17.
