Crews Clean Up Following Route 28 Truck Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Clean-up crews and Duquesne Light employees are working to fully reopen a stretch of Route 28 near Millvale.

A truck carrying construction debris flipped around midnight near the Millvale Industrial Park.

The rig took out guardrails, clipped a building and flipped over before catching fire.

The driver was not seriously injured.

He suffered a broken leg along with cuts and bruises.

Crews hope to have all four lanes open later this afternoon.
