Motorists Coping With Latest Route 28 Rockslide

HARMAR TWP. (KDKA) ― Weeks after a rockslide closed part of Route 28, officials say more debris has once again tumbled on the road.

Another rockslide happened last night along Route 28 in Harmarville.

State Police shut down both southbound lanes near exit 11 at the time.

It appeared that about five vehicles were damaged by the rocks.

Right now, only one lane is closed southbound.

PennDOT says the lane will remain closed for a least another day or two as they work to clear the debris.
