Police Waiting To Identify Remains Of Woman In Van

(KDKA) Positively identifying the body of a local woman who was found inside a burning van in Tennessee last week will come down to dental records.

Paula Lanz, 39, of Scott Township, went missing on Monday.

A body matching her description turned up dead inside a burning van in Tennessee on Friday.

According to police, the van is registered to Lanz.

Nashville Police are treating the case as a homicide and following leads as are authorities in Allegheny County.

So far, no one has been charged in her death.

However, police arrested Lanz's estranged husband on Friday in Allegheny County for violating a protection from abuse order that she had against him.
