Police: Another Object Thrown At Car On Parkway

State police say a rock hit the windshield of Natasha Lockhart's car as she drove along Route 22/30 in Robinson Township around 8:30pm last night

Now officials say there may have been a second case in the same area

Anyone with information is urged to call state police at 412/787-2000
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― State police are investigating another incident along the Parkway West in which someone apparently threw an object at a car from an overpass.

According to police, Natasha Lockhart of Moon Township was heading west along Route 22/30 in Robinson Township when an unknown object struck the windshield of her car.

The incident happened around 8:30pm last night as Lockhart approached the Ridge Road overpass.

Lockhart was not injured.

Now authorities are looking into another report of an object hitting a vehicle in that same area a short time later.

Officials are asking for help finding a suspect.

Anyone with information is urged to call state police at 412/787-2000.

These latest reports come about two weeks after authorities arrested Jeffrey Ramous, 49, for allegedly hurling rocks onto the Parkway West.

Police say Ramous admitted to throwing about 100 rocks and bricks at vehicles since 2005. He's facing a host of charges including aggravated assault, propulsion of a missile, reckless endangerment and risking a catastrophe.

Just a few days after Ramous' arrest, though, someone hit at least two other vehicles with rocks.

Mary Ann Pucci says she thought someone shot at her taxi cab when a rock crashed through the windshield on March 24th. Pucci was driving inbound on the Parkway West near the Green Tree Exit at the time.

A short time later that same night, authorities say someone threw a rock through the windshield of a car headed outbound on the Parkway.

"We thought it was all over," Green Tree Police Lt. Chad Rannigan told KDKA, "but apparently it was not."

Police told KDKA that the latest incidents could be copycat crimes; but their investigation is continuing.

Stay with KDKA for the latest developments.
