Slain Mt. Oliver Deli Clerk's Life Remembered

MT. OLIVER (KDKA) ― Friends and family of a deli clerk from Syria who was killed over the weekend, gathered tonight to honor and remember him.

Police say Jamal Mouzaffar, 28, died after he was shot while he was working at A & E Deli in Mt. Oliver, which is owned by his uncle.

Loved ones held a memorial service on Brownsville Road, followed by a candlelight vigil for Mouzaffar. Funeral services were held for him in Syria Friday.

Wednesday, police arrested 16-year-old Eric Hancock from North Carolina and charged with the
Murder.

Hancock was in Pittsburgh visiting relatives.
