Greene Co. Girl Laid To Rest

(KDKA) Gabrielle Bechen, a 12-year-old girl who police say was strangled to death and buried on a horse farm near her home, will be laid to rest today.

More than a 100 volunteers went searching for Bechen after she was reported missing last Tuesday.

Authorities discovered her body last Sunday morning.

State Police arrested and charged Jeffrey Robert Martin, 48, of New Geneva, Fayette County with criminal homicide aggravated assault and four counts of tampering with evidence.

In a taped confession Martin told authorities he strangled her after she told him she was going to accuse him of molesting her.
