One of the men accused in the execution-style shooting deaths of two Ohio college students was in a Pennsylvania courtroom today for a hearing.
Terrell Yarbrough and Nathan Herring allegedly kidnapped two Franciscan University students from their Steubenville, Ohio home, drove them to Washington County, Pa. and killed them in 1999.
Yarbrough, 26, and Herring, 25, were tried separately in Ohio and convicted of first-degree homicide in 2001.
However, the Ohio Supreme Court ruled in 2004 that Yarbrough couldn't be prosecuted in Ohio for a murder he allegedly committed in Pennsylvania.
A judge threw out the murder conviction against Herring based on the state supreme court's decision.
