Today Is Anniversary Of Duquesne Univ. Shootings

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Today marks the one year anniversary of the shootings on the Duquesne University campus.

The four defendants involved in the shooting of five Duquesne basketball players are scheduled for a jury trial next month.

William Holmes, 19, of Penn Hills, faces 13 counts in connection with the shootings, including five counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

He has no bail and has been in jail since his arrest.

The players were shot after a dance on campus last September 17th.
