A cold snap continues to keep the Pittsburgh region in below-freezing temperatures.
This morning, the low stayed in the single-digits.
According to KDKA Meteorologist Rebecca Hower, today's high will probably climb out of the teens to reach 20 degrees.
Wind chills, however, were far from balmy, at about 15 degrees below zero. Because of high pressure building up, the bone-chilling winds could gain speed.
"We're going to see a strong westerly wind, maybe even a little bit of a stronger wind this afternoon than what we have now, with winds potentially getting up to 20 miles per hour and gusting higher than that throughout the afternoon hours," explained Hower.
Tonight, temperatures are expected to fall to about 10 degrees.
