Mom Accused Of Hiding Daughter Charged In Fire

BLAIRSVILLE (KDKA) ― One day after police charged a teenager with setting a fire that killed her adoptive father; the girl's biological mother is now also facing charges.

State police say Georgianne Plamer, of Blairsville, helped her daughter, Codee Wheeler hide when the teen ran away last month.

On Wednesday, Wheeler, 16, was charged an adult, accused of setting fire to her parent's home.

She is facing a list of charges including homicide, arson, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief.

Her father, William Wheeler, became trapped and died in that fire.
