The reward for information on the death of a pizza delivery man was increased today on the one year anniversary of his death.
Allegheny County and Braddock Police held a press conference this afternoon to make the announcement.
The reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Christopher Williams was raised to $15,000.
"It doesn't really matter the amount of money it's the conscious of the witnesses that were here to bring forth. The money will be a secondary thing," says Assistant Chief Jim Morton, of the Allegheny County Police. "We know that there is at least four to five witnesses to that homicide that night when he was delivering pizza to this resident here."
"We do have names of suspects but we need the witnesses to come forth to help us," he adds.
Police say 36-year-old Williams, from Swissvale, was shot and killed during an attempted robbery on Camp Avenue last year.
At the time Williams was working as a pizza delivery driver for Vocelli Pizza.
Today marks the one year anniversary of his death.
Williams' family was also in attendance at the press conference.
"I miss Chris everyday," Loretta Miles, Williams' mother, says. "There's not a day that goes by when I don't think of my son and he was a good son, a good father, husband and brother. It was just senseless, no justification to the murder, none, none, I miss my son dearly."
"Hopefully someone will want to do the right thing and come forth with information because I know that there are those of you out there that know what took place that evening," she says.
The investigation continues.
