Black & Gold Bash Organizers Sue Mountaineer

(KDKA) The organization that behind the Black and Gold Bash that was cancelled last month has filed a lawsuit.

The Hope Cancer Treatment Foundation is suing the Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort for more than $210,000 in damages.

Mountaineer canceled the event after being told the foundation wasn't registered as a charity in the State.

A Butler County judge also has barred the group from soliciting in Pennsylvania.

The group has no ties to the Steelers.
