THE HAIRThe cost of Patty's hair cut and color at
Stilo Salon in Wexford retails at $180, but the look can be copied much more cheaply. Salon owner Louie did the design, which is why it was so expensive.
THE CLOTHESPatty's short capris were $20 in the Juniors department at Kohls. The Style Sisters like the shorter capri that hits right below the knee, at the thinnest part of the leg. A typical capri hits in mid-calf where the leg is the widest and makes the leg look shorter and heavier.
The jean jacket was $50 on sale at Macy's, fitted at the waist and hitting in mid-hip. The Style Sisters say it's OK to splurge on something like a nice jean jacket because you can wear it season to season -- even in the wintertime with a scarf and gloves.
The tank shirt was $14 from J. Crew. The Style Sisters recommend buying longer tanks and t-shirts that hit around mid-hip for a longer, leaner look. Don't be afraid to let your shirt peak out from below your jacket! They also recommend buying less expensive tanks and "T's" so that when they become worn or dingy you can replace them without feeling guilty.
The espadrille shoes were $19.50 from Charlotte Russe. The Style Sisters say every woman needs to have at least one pair of espadrilles this summer because they're the shoe "of the moment." But because the wedge of this shoe is made of natural materials that won't stand up to a lot of wear and tear -- and because the espadrille is a one-season shoe -- they recommend not spending a lot on yours.
