Ward & Rooney Top New Sports Surveys

(KDKA) Two members of the Steelers organization have made it to the top of two new sports surveys conducted by ESPN.

According to one of the surveys, NFL coaches voted Hines Ward as the brainiest offensive player in the league. However, that list did disqualify quarterbacks from the voting.

Meanwhile, according to the other survey, Steelers owner and chairman, Dan Rooney is the best in the business.

Rooney received five votes as the best owner in the league, that's out of 31 coaches surveyed. He is followed by Dallas' Jerry Jones and Denver's Pat Bowlen.

Rooney declined to comment on the distinction.
