PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) ― Some Pittsburghers are content and others are not too happy after word that the chairman of a Pittsburgh-based investment firm could be taking some control of the Steelers away from the Rooney family.

"As long as the Steelers are playing in Pittsburgh, it has no affect on my routing interest. I'll be a Steelers fan for life, as long as they're here," one fan told KDKA.

"I don't feel too good. The Steelers are a family-owned business and we want to keep them here in Pittsburgh as long as possible," another fan added.

Other fans say they just want to make sure the team stays put and keeps it local ties. "If they stay in Pittsburgh and the Rooneys have some control, that's fine."

Amid all the rumors and reports of the ownership shakeup, fans are anxiously watching and waiting to see what develops in the days ahead.
