Steelers Fans React To Big Ben Lawsuit

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Ben Roethlisberger was served with a civil lawsuit in a sexual assault case while playing golf in Lake Tahoe.

With Pittsburgh Steelers training camp just around the corner, how will the lawsuit affect the Big Ben's ability to lead the team and play the game?

"I don't think its going to affect him at all, he's a professional. He's going to take care of this as a professional," Mark Faight said.

"He's the QB that's the most important thing its not going to affect his ability in playing the game," Mark McMasters said.

As for how the team will handle it, there are two likely options. First, create a distraction from the lawsuit or put up a unified front.

"Everything will be fine because they're all professionals and they will take care of this the way it should be done," Faight said.

A spokesman for the Steelers. Dave Lockett, released a statement earlier today regarding the situation.

"The team is aware of the lawsuit and we are gathering information," Lockett said.
