Davenport Pleads Not Guilty To 3 Charges

CLEVELAND, OH (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh Steelers' running back Najeh Davenport has pleaded not guilty to all three charges against him stemming from a dispute with his child's mother.

Davenport was charged with domestic violence, child endangerment and unlawful restraint.

Officials say Davenport had an argument with his child's mother, Anita Person, 27, on October 4 when he went to pick up the 5-year-old boy and told the woman that he was filing for full custody.

Davenport's bond was set at $7,500 and has already been posted.  His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 20.

Davenport has asked for a jury trial.  Both he and Person also asked for protection orders from each other.
