Tomlin Talks About Browns, Injuries

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media Tuesday afternoon to discuss this week's upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns.

Earlier, Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arians shouldered the blame for Detroit cutting the lead in the fourth quarter Sunday. He said he should have made some different choices and admitted he got a little greedy in the fourth quarter.

The Browns come into the game fresh off a 6-3 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. It was their first win of the season.

Tomlin highlighted some key matchups for Sunday's game. One of them was the battle between All-Pro offensive tackle Joe Thomas against linebacker James Harrison.

Another player the Steelers will need to keep an eye on according to Tomlin, is nose tackle Shaun Rogers. The 6-foot-4-inch 350 pound Rogers is big up front for the Browns and the offensive line needs to account for him at all times.

Tomlin also gave updates on the injured Steelers.

Trai Essex is a little banged up and may be limited in practice early in the week.

Aaron Smith suffered a shoulder injury against the Lions and may not play this week against Cleveland.

Willie Parker and Troy Polamalu are expected to practice Wednesday and be re-evaluated on Thursday to see how they react to a full workout.
