Tomlin Outlines Key Injuries For Bengal's Game

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Steelers are rested after their bye week and now that are ready to take on the winless Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.

Today, Head Coach Mike Tomlin talked injuries and preparations for the Bengals at his weekly news conference.

Brett Keisel is back in the lineup this week. He'll start at defensive end.

Dallas Baker is out with a shoulder injury and Carey Davis is out with an ankle injury.

There are a slew of key players who will be reevaluated as the week wears on.

Willie Parker says he feels great and said yesterday that he will play.

However, Tomlin had a different take.

He said they are going to wait and see how Parker does and reevaluate his status later in the week.

Casey Hampton has a groin injury. He is going to run today and then again tomorrow.

Tomlin is saying Hampton looks much better this week than he has in weeks past. He'll be reevaluated.

Kicker Jeff Reed somehow strained that left plant calf in the last game.

He was much better this week. Last week, he had his calf heavily wrapped, but apparently he is much improved.

Marvel Smith will be reevaluated tomorrow as well.

The Steelers haven't lost in Cincinnati in the last seven visits.
