Steelers Fans Journey To St. Vincent For Camp

 Fan Cam Features From Steelers Training Camp

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― It was the first day of practice and Steelers fans made their annual pilgrimage to St. Vincent College in Latrobe for training camp.

Fans from around the country showed up to watch the players in action.

"I rescheduled our vacation just so we could be here," Barbara Stewart, from Middletown, NY, said.

"I love the Steelers. Black and gold run through my veins," Joselin Sacconani, of Ft. Myers, Fla., said.

Like they do every year, they raced for the best spot to snag pictures and autographs.

"You get the chance to meet Big Ben, Ward, Polamalu, all the big names that we sit down every Sunday afternoon and watch so it's worth it I think," Chris Ofchinick, from Brunswick, ME, said.

Fans who went to camp adore the team, so they went pretty easy on Casey Hampton who put on some extra pounds.

"Good things come in big packages that's all I say - they should just leave him practice," Nancy Beam, from Mt. Pleasant, said.
