Steelers Prepare For Cleveland Browns

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Steelers continue to get ready to take on the Cleveland Browns.

They'll face off against their long-time rival without Aaron Smith who is out for the year.

Smith is one of the top run-stoppers in the NFL.

Defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau expects Cleveland to challenge them in the run game.

"It's a challenge for us all, you know, losing one of your top, top guys in there it's definitely bad," he told reporters. "I think our guys will answer that challenge."

LeBeau also expects other players to take advantage of more playing time.

"It's a tough loss for us losing Aaron, but it will give Ziggy more snaps and in that respect it'll be a good thing for that young man," he added.

Meantime, Willie Parker got a lot more snaps in practice after the Steelers decided to send Rashard Mendenhall home after he came down with the flu.

Mendenhall is expected to be fine by game time, but Parker might get more chances as a result of more practice time.
