Rooney Brothers To Meet Tuesday With Goodell

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Rooney brothers are headed to New York to try to settle the Steelers ownership saga.

Chairman Dan Rooney and his four brothers are set to meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday.

Also, former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue could also possibly appear at the meeting. He has been working with the Rooney brothers in an attempt to work out a deal.

Dan and his son, Art Rooney II, are trying to buy enough shares to be the primary owners of the Steelers.

But so far, their offers were for much less money than the Rooney brothers could sell for on the open market.
