Haggans Has A New Home

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― It appears as though the LaMarr Woodley Era in Pittsburgh has begun; that's because last year's starter at outside linebacker, Clark Haggans, has a new home.

Haggans has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Steelers are expecting Woodley to fill Haggans spot in the starting lineup.

Woodley was the teams 2nd round pick in last year's draft.

Haggans drew very little interest in the free agent market drawing only a visit to the Cleveland Browns and Arizona. In Arizona, Haggans will be reunited with former Steelers assistants Ken Whisenhunt and Russ Grimm.

Haggans was drafted by the Steelers in the fifth round in the 2000 NFL Draft. Haggans started 61 games in his 8 years with the team and recorded 32.5 sacks.
