It might be Christmas, but the Steelers still have a game to play on Sunday. And while they did practice today, they still found some time to share their holiday spirit.
Since it's Christmas Eve, we took the opportunity to find out what some of the Steelers favorite holiday memories are.
"I'm a big hunter so my best gift would probably be my BB gun," DE Brett Keisel said. "I didn't shoot my eye out luckily."
"I think the best part is whenever you have younger brothers and sisters that still believe in Santa," said QB Charlie Batch.
"I remember one year I got a surfboard," NT Chris Hoke said. "And, you know, because everyone was surfing, I wanted to get into surfing but I was terrible.
"And but I went out and tried and I got a surfboard a Variflex surfboard. It was white, purple and kind of cool looking. That year I was stoked. I was really happy about that," he added.
"I just remember, you know, can't sleep, laying in the bed, keep checking on my mother's room and finding out you know at one point, 'Can I open my presents?'," QB Byron Leftwich said. "And sometimes it was four or five in the morning, six in the morning but I never could sleep. I never could sleep."
"Getting my first bike," DE Nick Eason said. "And basically going outside and busting my lip because I didn't know how to ride a bicycle. I used to basically try to, you know, lean my bike up against the porch and jump on it and kind of roll down the hill but that didn't ever work, so I had to convert to training wheels."
"I used to get a bike every year," recalls Casey Hampton, "then get it stolen the next day. That was my gift."
