Tomlin: Steelers, Chargers Are Good Match

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Steelers are less than a week away from Sunday's playoff game.

At today's weekly news conference, Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin said the Chargers match up well against the black and gold.

The Chargers surprised the Indianapolis Colts last week in overtime.

In turn, they surprised much of the NFL.

The Steelers beat the Chargers earlier in the season by a score of 11 to 10.

Tomlin spoke highly of Chargers' Quarterback Phillip Rivers.

The big question is will running back LaDainian Tomlinson play?

He has a groin injury.

Last weekend, the Chargers really didn't need him.

Running back Darren Sproles was rushing and even passing in the win over the Colts.

The Steelers will be concerned about him for sure.

Meanwhile, Ben Roethlisberger is coming back after the concussion.

He was cleared yesterday to play.

The team is off today and will be back to practice again tomorrow.

Game time is Sunday at 4:45 p.m. at Heinz Field.

The game can be seen on KDKA-TV.
