Tickets To Steelers Game Not Hard To Come By

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Getting tickets to Sunday's Steelers game at Heinz Field might not be so tough.

Not only are they available - you don't have to mortgage the house, the car and your kids to get them.

Fans are selling their tickets on sites like Craigslist, eBay and the Steelers Ticket Exchange. Some sellers cite the cold weather, while others say they could use the extra cash.

"You know when it comes feeding your kids or going to a Steeler game, I'm sure it has something to do with it," Karen Snair of Fawn Township said.

To the Steelers, having 3,000 tickets on their exchange site is not a problem.

"It's a great opportunity for some fans who may not regularly get to our games to come on out and enjoy and cheer us on," says Dave Lockett, a spokesman for the Steelers.

And the team is not worried about potentially empty seats or worse.

"Our fans have a way of getting to the stadium they get there no matter whether we're playing at home or away," Lockett adds. "I think you'll see a lot of black and gold out there and I'm not too worried about us being overtaken by Charger fans."
