NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says Spygate is done now that he has spent more than three hours behind closed doors with former New England Patriots Video Assistant Matt Walsh.
Goodell said he didn't learn anything new from his meeting with Walsh and unless he learns something new in the future, the matter is over.
From there, Walsh traveled to Washington D.C. and spent even more time behind closed doors with Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter.
The public for the first time got to see the actual video tapes which show the signals, moves and motions recorded between 2000 and 2002 of the Chargers, Dolphins, Browns and the Steelers.
In a written statement, Steelers Chairman Dan Rooney says the organization isn't dwelling on the past and has confidence in the NFL's handling of the situation.
"We are satisfied with Commissioner Goodell's conclusion that nothing significantly new was discovered about the Patriots' videotaping matter after this morning's meeting with Matt Walsh. The NFL did a thorough investigation that spanned several months," he said.
Goodell says he does not expect any more sanctions to be imposed against the Patriots.
