Clark Gets Medical Clearance To Play In Denver

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― For Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark next week will be decision week about whether or not to play against the Denver Broncos.

The starting safety experienced problems when the Steelers last visited Denver in 2007.

He played in the higher altitude, but developed health issues because of his sickle cell trait.

Now, two years later as the Steelers head to Denver again, Clark has gotten medical clearance to play.

In 2007, Clark had to have emergency surgery for the removal of his spleen and gal bladder.

There is no word yet on his final decision.
