Rooneys To Meet With NFL Commissioner

NEW YORK (KDKA) ― Members of the Rooney family are headed to New York today for a sit-down meeting about the Steelers ownership situation.

Chairman Dan Rooney and his four brothers will meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell this morning.

Sources tell the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Goodell reportedly wants to help make a deal that would keep Dan Rooney in control of the team.

The other Rooney brothers have expressed an interest in seeing how much they could get on the open market.
