Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has given the Steelers his wish list for 2008.
Our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the list includes a new contract, a tall wide receiver and guard Alan Faneca resigned.
Big Ben has two years left on his contract but wants to extend it now.
He says his receivers are unbelievable but a taller one would make it easier for him to throw the ball.
Faneca has been a key part of the offensive line for a decade and Roethlisberger says the Steelers know how valuable he is to the team.
The all-pro guard becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of next month.
The Steelers reportedly plan to talk with his agent again before then.
However, Faneca's price may be more than the team wants to pay.
