Ward, Steelers Teach Mendenhall Not To Fumble

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― After fumbling twice during Saturday's game against the Vikings, first round pick Rashard Mendenhall got the rookie treatment at Steeler's practice on Monday.

Mendenhall was ordered to hold onto a football at all times.

Hines ward came up with an idea.

He gave Mendenhall a football with a $100 price tag.

If any team mate was able to take the ball away from Mendenhall, he had to pay that player $100.

We know of at least two players who got into Mendenhall's pocket on Monday.
