Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller and his wife Katie are hosts of the annual Glimmer of Hope event in 2009.

When Heath Miller isn't helping his team on Sunday afternoons, you can bet he's helping people in the community.
Miller and his wife, Katie, are hosting the annual Glimmer of Hope event which raises money in the fight against breast cancer.
His popularity as a teammate is evident because they all come out to support him, but nobody supports him like this wife Katie.
"He's a great dad with our son and he's a great husband – I really honestly couldn't ask for anyone better," she said. "He's a great football player but he's a better husband."
Miller is a great football player who recently just caught his 25th career touchdown pass and is on pace to erase all pervious Steelers tight end records. He's a guy who never drops anything on the field at least.
"He drops a lot of stuff around the house," Katie said. "So I'm like, 'Come on, where's the good hands?'"
Pompeani: "Have you ever seen him when he's not quiet?"
Katie: "When he gets mad he gets crazy eyes, he gets really big eyes when he gets upset. … But I've never really heard him raise his voice ever."
Miller is a gentle giant. In fact, Katie says she had to take the lead in asking for the first date.
"I definitely was interested but I had another boyfriend at the time, but I liked him – I just thought he was really big," she said. "I had never met anyone that tall before. Our … football team was like 5'10" in high school."
