Ben Roethlisberger's Youth Football Camp Opens

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Some local kids with dreams of playing in the NFL are going to get the chance of a lifetime today.

Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is opening his youth football camp to hundreds of local youngsters.

Around 350 kids between the ages of 7 and 14-years-old are expected at the start of the three-day camp today at Mars Area High School.

Some of the region's top coaches will be on hand to help these lucky young football players hone their skills.

In addition to getting 9-hour of expert instruction, campers will get a Ben Roethlisberger Camp shirt as well as an autographed camp team photo with Big Ben.

Each day, Big Ben will talk with the kids at the beginning and end of practice.

The first annual Old Spice Ben Roethlisberger Football Camp runs through Wednesday.
