Planning Commission Approves Revised Arena Plans

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The City Planning Commission has unanimously approved new plans for the Penguins arena in the Hill District.

The new plans include a big screen TV at the top of the building, a smaller entrance and more retail space on the street-level of the arena.

But the commission did have concerns about a pedestrian walkway.

A groundbreaking date has not been set.
